In which we have a Finnish version of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer...

I was watching Lapland on BBC and had to find this after hearing it:

Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, first appeared in a 1939 booklet written by Robert L. May and published by Montgomery Ward. May's brother-in-law, Johnny Marks, a radio producer who wrote several popular Christmas songs, adapted the story into a song, which was first sung commercially by Harry Brandon on New York city radio in 1948 and recorded by Gene Autry in 1949.
