The Site

The name of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Sponge sums up my intention for this blog fairly neatly – these will be the 4 major categories of posts:

1. Tinker – a catch-all term for DIY and computer related geekery
2. Tailor – costume design/construction for fancy dress purposes (or even porpoises)
3. Soldier – Airsoft related activities
4. Sponge – cookery (mostly cakes)

Also I used to have two blogs and have now added sections from there:

1. PhD - random mutterings about my research project
2. Reviews - reviews of all sorts of geekery
3. Tea - the origin of the other blog, tea reviews aplenty on a bi-weekly basis
